AS NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER, YOU WILL:
If you are a Sales professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! We are adding a National Account Manager with a focus on Food Service and Food Retail to deliver complete Cold Chain solutions to our customers. You will work closely with Emerson sales, marketing, product development, solutions strategy, solutions integration, and services to deliver our capabilities with excellence. In addition, you will work with channels outside of Emerson to supplement and enhance our deliverables. This includes, but not limited to, OEMs, Engineers of Records, Contractors, and other 3rd party software providers. You will also engage with the End User's logistics, distribution centers, Quality Assurance and Processing Partners. LI-Remote
- Develop sales goals and exceed sales goals in Cold Chain Solutions at assigned accounts.
- Execute a Disciplined Sales Process with the Solutions Strategy Team to understand customer challenges and to create Emerson Cold Chain solutions to delivery customer performance results. Utilize the Solution Strategy and Solutions Integration Teams to pilot solutions to customer challenges that lead to deployed programs
- Gain End User preference for Emerson Cold Chain Solutions that is influence by 3rd Parties, including, Engineers of Record, OEMs and Contractors.
- Engage and collaborate with the OEM and Channel sales teams to leverage their “influence” connections accelerating Emerson Solution adoption at the assigned accounts. Maintain pursuit relationships with your End User’s preferred OEMs, Engineers of Record and Contractors.
- Communicate Customer’s feedback on market conditions, technology adoption trends and solution requirements to shape product development and to solve customer solutions.
- Understand the End User business life cycle support opportunity at your assigned accounts and collaborate with our Life Cycle Services team to develop unique solutions to drive customer operational efficiency.
- Engage your End User’s Logistics, Distribution, Quality Assurance and Processing groups expanding Emerson’s solutions capability across our customers cold chain.
- Expand and advance our influence on Executive Levels to create a comprehensive Cold Chain Partnership relationship between Emerson and your key accounts.
- Accurately forecast our business performance for a rolling 12-month period at your assigned accounts. Provide timely forecast information for Demand Planning that feeds our S&OP process.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five (5) years of foodservice operations or food retail field sales demonstrated success
Demonstrated success in executing disciplined sales process or leading a disciplined management process in operations
Creativity and curiosity in developing new solutions to customer or operational challenges
Effective verbal communication & resource coordination skills in a complex environment
Strong win/win negotiating skills
Adaptability to changing environments with a strong dedication to execute winning strategies
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time (pending COVID-19 travel restictions)
