Responsible to provide management and technical support to product quality. This includes review and improves work processes and systems, participate in quality audits and work with manufacturing plants on qualities and operational matters. This role also requires providing guidance to the QA technician on daily inspection.
Ensures operational process operating and meeting process/ product requirement/ specification.
Performs Finish Good Audit on products with reference to engineering drawings
Performs dimensional, functional or other tests using specified measuring and test equipment.
Files and maintains inspection records
Reviews incoming quality inspection metrology including first article inspection and prepares a plan to minimize inspections.
Verifies and ensures closure of all suppliers’ issues including corrective and preventive actions
Manages customer feedback and enhance customer satisfaction through collaborating with cross-functional team. Develop and enhance process control system to drive continuous improvement on product quality.
Maintains all the documentations are updated and comply with ISO 9001: 2015 standards.
Participates in quality improvement programs.
Responsible for calibrations of inspection and production tooling and equipment.
Leads in ISO 9001: 2015 (internal and external) and Supplier audits.
Qualifications / Requirements
Diploma in Quality/Manufacturing/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
At least 5 to 7 years’ relevant experience in a similar position.
Experience working in an ISO 9001 Quality System.
Good knowledge of MS office platforms software (Excel, Words, PowerPoint).
Proficient in the use of mechanical inspection equipment including calipers, micrometer, torque tester and other mechanical equipment.
