Contracts Advisor

NES Fircroft Cairo Full-Time
My client, who are an International Oil and Energy Operator based in Egypt, are recruiting for a Contracts Advisor on a contract basis.

ONLY INDIVIDUALS WITH THE RIGHT TO WORK IN EGYPT CAN BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE.

Job outline:
 
  • Responsible for developing and implementing contracts for Egypt Upstream operations. This will include Drilling & Completions, Operations, Seismic, and Service contracts. Focus areas will include:- development and maintenance of a comprehensive Egypt annual contracting & procurement plan; and alignment with established EGAS procurement processes.
  • Supports customers for contract planning and execution of all contracts required by the functional groups in Egypt.
  • Will assist with contract logging and reporting activity as directed and as work demands.  Provides frequent support and regular and structured engagement with functional teams to ensure that contract service needs have advanced and effective planning are in place for critical activities and contracts are planned and executed on time.
  • Develops a high-level comprehensive working knowledge of Chevron Contracts Procedures, FCC Model Contracts and Chevron Contracting Manual.
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvements in the contracts and logistics functions

Post Award Contract Management:
Liaises with Contact Owners/Sponsor Groups in order to identify all spend for contracted services. Will play a key support role for sustaining “Contracts Compliance” across the managed suite of contracts.

Contract Scoping:
Ensures contracts are in place and scoped correctly to provide the required services for Egypt Facilities and Services.
Works directly with service providers to gather all required compliance documents for contract execution and vendor setup.
Participates in CHESM (Contractor Health, Environment and Safety Management) Audits.

Supplier Qualification and Finance coordination:
Works with finance on generating contract cost reports and engages with Contact Owners on Contract status reports. Will play a key role in Supplier Qualification/Supplier Due Diligence process.  Maintains a regular interface with Finance/Compliance on Supplier Qualification and review processes

Management Support
Assist Supply Chain and Contracts Manager and other LT (Leadership Team Members) as required, when required.


Person requirements:

Oil and Energy experience is essential
LNG Project Experience is preferred but not essential
Operator experience is preferred but not essential.
