We are currently seeking an experienced Protection Engineer to join our Projects Division as part of the UGL/Endeavour Energy Alliance. As the Protection Engineer you are responsible for designing and providing operational support for Endeavour Energy’s Protection Systems to protect assets and reduce the safety risk.  

Based in Huntingwood and reporting to the Alliance Manager you are also responsible for;

  • Provide technical advice and guidance to facilitate the accurate design, implementation, and maintenance of protection schemes
  • Undertake technical investigations, provide technical support, and investigate equipment failure
  • Prepare protection data reports as required
  • Evaluate and approve the protection component of conceptual plans and provide advice as required
  • Promote UGL’s ‘One HSE’ Culture

You will work with diverse teams and be responsible for creating an environment where great ideas are heard, and everyone looks out for one another.

Ideally you will have\:

  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering
  • Significant experience working in a similar role in the Energy, Electrical or Utilities industries
  • The analytical ability to assess situations, gather information and identify key issues
  • Extensive software proficiency across a variety of applications
  • Advanced communication skills
  • Customer focus, team oriented, accountable and results driven
