This impressive company are now seeking Enterprise Network Engineers to join their teams in London. They are looking for talented, motivated engineers to manage their rapidly expanding enterprise presence by designing and deploying cutting edge office and data center networks across the globe.

  • Design, deploy and manage a corporate office, data center, and executive home office network environment that is growing at an unprecedented pace
  • Manage complex projects – order networking equipment, internet circuits, low voltage, and manage logistics for many fast-moving priorities
  • Develop automated methods to monitor, deploy, and update the network
  • Use advanced monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve potential issues
  • Collaborate closely with many teams to meet aggressive timelines
  • Document network designs and processes
  • Provide support and respond to network connectivity issues
  • Actively participate in incident response, postmortem, and root-cause analysis

Required Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience designing, deploying and maintaining highly reliable networks at scale
  • Experience with client-side troubleshooting of network services (i.e. DNS, DHCP, and 802.1x)
  • Hands-on experience in a multi-vendor environment
  • Illustrate excellent communication skills and adaptability
  • Knowledge of layer 2 protocols and associated enhancements such as STP, LACP, and VTP
  • Understanding of routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF
  • Knowledge of Wireless technologies (802.1a/b/g/n/ac/ax)
  • Understanding of VPN Technologies (IPSEC, SSL VPNs, GRE, DMVPN)
  • Experience using application layer firewalls and access control lists

Preferred Qualifications:   

  • Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, JNCNP/JNCIA, CISSP, etc.
  • Proficiency in one of these programming languages: Python, Go, Java
  • Proficiency in Automation frameworks (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Ninja)
  • Systems administration experience with Linux, Windows Server, and virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware, KVM)
  • Finance industry experience with trading networks and/or exchange connectivity
  • Project Management Experience
