Job Summary

The HR & Operations Coordinator will provide administrative support to the People team, and oversee daily operations in our Seattle office.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

People Team Support:

  • Coordinate the recruitment and hiring process of employees, including posting jobs, scheduling interviews, completing background checks, and onboarding new hires 
  • Conduct benefits enrollment for new employees and coordinate open enrollment
  • Respond to internal and external HR related questions and inquiries
  • Manage employee change requests and process paperwork
  • Support the development, implementation and administration of HR programs
  • Assist VP of People with various projects

General Office Management: 

  • Act as point person in relationship with Sublessor and communicating maintenance needs to Sublessor
  • Design, implement and oversee adherence to office policies and procedures, when necessary
  • Monitor mailbox and manage mailings and shipping, as necessary
  • Ensure filing systems are maintained and current and ensure security, integrity and confidentiality of data
  • Manage relationships with vendors and service providers
  • Monitor and maintain kitchen and office supplies inventory
  • Oversee general office organization and cleanliness in kitchen and common spaces
  • Participate actively in the planning and execution of company events
  • Provide general hospitality support to visitors 

Skills required:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information and documents with discretion and maturity
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office; Experience using HRIS or Applicant Tracking Systems

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience
  • At least two years related experience required

Other requirements:

  • Must be Seattle based.
