For Amaala this means as part of the early phases of the overall development, access to the proposed Airport and into Triple North Bay as a priority deliverable. This package will consist of two geometrically similar grade separated interchanges running along the existing Highway 5.
Help to make a difference and be part of our site supervision team on the Amaala development. As a Planner you will be ensuring client satisfaction and helping to strengthen the project delivery capabilities. You will have extensive knowledge and experience in project planning, budgeting, cost phasing and control from the project initiation to close out phases, utilizing computer based Primavera applications, within the framework of an integrated project services function for the effective management of a wide range of concurrent projects, to meet the business plan objectives.
You will form part of a project control team where you will interact with the Construction team and review key aspects of the project contract and be responsible for the planning/scheduling activities that support the project requirements. You will have autonomy over establishing an effective project management and controls systems that compliments the project’s reporting systems and that integrate into the project systems, whilst monitoring, refining and improving the reporting and controls tools as required. You will be responsible for establishing accurate and complete project progress and cost reporting and project controls deliverables and evaluating, selecting, and adapting control techniques, procedures, and criteria to suit job tasks, and devises and implements solutions to problems encountered.
As a successful candidate you will have a degree, experience in planning, scheduling and cost engineering including at least 3 years using Primavera Project Management (P6), Primavera Contract Management (Expedition). You must have a certification in planning and scheduling of projects and in using Primavera applications (Primavera Project Management /P6 and Primavera Contract Management/ Expedition) and cost engineering. A pre- requisite of the role is that you have Middle East experience.
