We currently have an opening at our Foothill Ranch, CA (Orange County) facility for an Electronics technician. The successful candidate will apply technical expertise and practical skills in the assembling, repairing, and modification of variety of custom electronics systems including high voltage and high current. This is a full-time position with a rich compensation package.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assemble, install, and repair of various electronic equipment from small signal electronic units to high power pulse power supplies.
- Execute test of the electronics systems and its parts according to provided plan or manufacture’s manual.
- Assemble PCBs and prepare custom cables
- Install standard and custom high voltage and high current cables
- Ability to implement projects using both documentation or hand sketches and notes.
- May require working in confined spaces using appropriate safety equipment
- Order supplies and equipment for the Electronics and Pulse Power Lab
Required Skills:
- Knowledge and use of a variety of hand and power tools.
- Practical experience in soldering PCBs, cable assemblies.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings to perform assembling tasks
- Ability to read and understand electrical circuits
- Ability to work independently on many different projects
Technical Experience (Equipment, tools, etc.)
- Use of variety of hand tools
- Use of soldering/repair stations
Software Knowledge and Skills:
- Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office
Other Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Attention to detail and a strong ability to focus on key attributes are important.
- Have good verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be self-motivated and able to stay on task with good attention to detail
Education:
Required Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education:
- Associates Degree from Electrical trade school or equivalent
