If you are a Financial Analyst professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you!  Based in our Boulder, Colorado location, you will have functional responsibilities in a divisional manufacturing, distribution and sales environment.  These responsibilities may include accounting duties in General Accounting, Cost Accounting or Financial Analysis, supporting a multi-divisional organization with compliance to US GAAP and corporate financial policies. 
AS A SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST, YOU WILL: 
  • Prioritize work and manage time effectively 
  • Receives moderate guidance and able to independently analyze problems and propose solutions 
  • Increases technical skills and begins to optimize work processes 
  • Seeking to understand the logic and reason behind the work 
  • Work well with others 
  • Able to communicate effectively both written and spoken 
  • Understand which form of communication best fits a situation 
  • Instills Trust 
  • Seeks and acts on feedback 
  • Strong MicroSoft Office skills, especially Excel 
WHO YOU ARE:
You transform financial information into business intelligence through analysis and integration of quantitative and qualitative information.  You analyze multiple and diverse sources of information to define problems accurately before moving to solutions.  You anticipate future trends and implications accurately.  You get the most out of available resources and secure rare resources others can’t get.  You break down objectives into appropriate initiatives and actions.


REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
  • Bachelor’s in accounting or finance required
  • At least 3 years of equivalent experience required
 PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:  
  • CPA or CMA preferred
