ACCIONA New Zealand is a key partner in two of Auckland’s Major Infrastructure Projects to date. We are seeking a strong Utilities Manager / Lead to join our growing Project Delivery Team for a Major Transport Project. The role will be based in the CBD and may move to Eastern suburbs.
Reporting to the Construction Manager you will be solely responsible for managing key relationships with major Utility Service Providers. Production of Methodologies & Pricing Packs are just some of your key accountabilities.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in Utilities in high urban areas
- Sound understanding of Utility Service provider Design, approval and delivery processes and timeframes to ensure alignment with the preferred Alliance Utilities solution;
- Have worked with Utility service providers to identify value Engineering opportunities
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or related field or qualified by experience.
- Previous experience in Service Relocations, HV (High Voltage) is preferred.
- Experience in a large construction/multi project environment and/or Alliances and Joint Ventures preferred.
