Roles and Responsibilities

• In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial planning, analysis, operational support and reporting for GE Grid Solutions Italy.

• Overlook OWC (AR-AP) providing estimate – analyze variance between estimate and actual
• Lead initiative to drive OWC improvement
• Provide cash management support for the unit in liaison with Ren/Corporate Treasury team
• Act as focal point of Treasury activity (Hedging – Bank guarantee – LOC)
• Manage factoring program for the legal entity in line with HQ guidance
• Support/Perform AR/AP/Cash accounting processes providing guidance when necessary
• Lead and manage vendor care program (Strategic supplier)
• Support central COE in area of competence (AR-AP-Cash) as local point of reference
• Being business partner to solve critical situation in area of competence
• Manage manual payments in liaison with COE where required
• Act as focal point for Electronic Invoice System
• Support and execute month end process for area of competence
• Drive and coordinate initiatives to simplify process in AR/AP/Cash area
• Support HQ/Regional initiatives or implementation of new requirements in area of competence (e.g. IBS - ERP – COE – New Country Obligation
• Qualifications / Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university or college; with a minimum of 5 years progressively experience.
• Expert knowledge of financial accounting and cost accounting. CPA / CPA candidates preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Fluency in Italian & English
• EU Work Permit

  •             Experience in leading process change preferred
