Summary:
The Financial Services Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting our purpose of creating lasting value for those we serve by assisting our finance and credit teams. Position is responsible for daily bank deposit, posting cash receipts to customer accounts and working with customers to resolve outstanding invoices. The Financial Services Coordinator is seen as a champion for the company culture and through all activities and actions promotes our culture, our 5 P's and our purpose to create lasting value for those we serve.

Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

  • Posting payments to customer accounts, including cash receipts, checks and ACH deposits and reconciles with bank deposit
  • Backup for sorting and stamping incoming mail
  • Preparing and verifying daily deposits
  • Research discrepancies and past due amounts on customer accounts
  • Contact customers regarding past due invoices and short payments
  • Work with customers regarding sales tax issues
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned
  • Prepares refund check for credits and overpayments

Job Requirements/Specifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with coursework in accounting
  • Associates Degree preferred in related field
  • Two years relevant work experience
  • Working knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Detailed oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
