FIELD OPERATIONS (IDD EL-SHARGI)
Primary purpose of job
Responsible for all preventive and corrective Electrical maintenance activities to safeguard technical integrity and optimize life cycle cost with focus on minimizing risk. Work closely with other departments to accomplish effective cross discipline knowledge.
Experience & Skills
To have knowledge on Electrical equipment like transformers, electric motors and controls, generators, generating power stations and associated switchgear of medium and high voltage, variable frequency controllers, transformers, UPS & PLC. Ability to read and understand process P&IDs, electrical SLD and schematic diagrams, and understand distributed control systems (DCS), Power Management System (PMS).
Knowledge in arc flash hazards & Hazardous area equipment maintenance.
5 years experience in Electrical within oil and gas field.
BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
