We are adding an Assistant Controller to our growing team! The Assistant Controller will report to the Financial Controller of National Grid Renewables and is responsible for overseeing the coordination and preparation of all external reporting across National Grid Renewables and to have oversight over risks and controls with financial reporting processes.
The Assistant Controller is also responsible and accountable for overseeing the coordination, preparation and consolidation of financial and management reports, such as balance sheets and income statements under both US GAAP and IFRS across both National Grid 100% owned companies in the National Grid Renewables group (e.g. the devco) and for the Joint Venture entity (Emerald). They will process and provide accurate and credible financial data by owning the management of consolidated IFRS and US GAAP financial statements and processes. They will also work closely with National Grid US Core Finance to ensure orderly/timely reporting of both US GAAP and IFRS results on a monthly basis.
The Assistant Controller will drive operational accounting, accounting policies, mandatory filings, inter-company transactions and flux analysis to ensure accurate accounting, reporting and analysis.
The Assistant Controller will also lead the external audit engagements for National Grid Renewables/Emerald, working closely with external auditors, and other internal stakeholders.
The Assistant Controller will work closely with the Finance leadership team to optimize efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function across National Grid Renewables.
