Lead Supplier Quality Engineer(Electrical) job in Taipei at GE

Job Description Summary

In this role you will handle supplier quality of Taiwan project Power balance of plant (BOP) and partners with procurement, engineering to drive supplier quality of product since supplier selection throughout deliver it to customer including handling customer complaint. You will lead supplier qualification, audits and own KPI.

Job Description

u2022u00A0u00A0 u00A0Responsibility for supplier quality on a wide range of commodities (ex. LV & MV Switchgear, Electrical & Control Panel, Transformers , Cables and Electrical Accessories ) for various projects, from supplier evaluation/negotiation phase u00A0to final inspections to verify compliance with technical and quality requirements before shipment release;
u2022u00A0u00A0 u00A0Conduct Supplier audit and support Technical tender analysis;
u2022u00A0u00A0 u00A0Lead Supplier Qualification with partnership with procurement, engineering, project quality;
u2022u00A0u00A0 u00A0Lead kick-off meetings with suppliers after order placement in cooperation with Procurement, Engineering, Logistic;
u2022u00A0u00A0 u00A0Prepare Supplier Quality Documents for project such Quality Control Plan (QCP), ITPL (Inspection Testing Plan) , Product Testing procedure;u00A0
u2022u00A0u00A0 u00A0Perform FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and PSI (Pre-Shipment inspection);
u2022u00A0u00A0 u00A0Develop Supplier audit plan, conduct audit, help supplier to close finding;
u2022u00A0u00A0 u00A0Handle Non-Conformance Report (NCR) & Root Cause Analysis (RCA) which caused by our supplier and lead resolution of complex, cross-functional for severe NCR/RCA.

Qualifications / Requirements
u2022u00A0u00A0 u00A0Diploma or Bacheloru2019s Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering;
u2022u00A0u00A0 u00A0Minimum of 5 yearsu2019 experience/familiar with Electrical product related industry such as Power, Oil & Gas;
u2022u00A0u00A0 u00A0Proven ability to lead project and project management skill and responsible for the overall implementation of quality control related to electrical product accordance with project specification and international code & standard;
u2022u00A0u00A0 u00A0Proven ability to work efficiently without direct supervision. Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to motivate others to achieve results;
u2022u00A0u00A0 u00A0Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese are MUST;
u2022u00A0u00A0 u00A0Strong ability to use Word and Excel;
u2022u00A0u00A0 u00A0Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
