Clear-Com is currently looking for a Senior Integration Test Engineer. You will be responsible for performing complex tasks to develop and apply system, integration, regression test requirements on products and for reporting defects. You will also develop and implement test plans, write test cases, procedures, and automatic test scripts, and analyze and document test results. The Clear-Com Integration and Test Team’s primary responsibility is to verify the designed products for compliance with the specification, and to see the product through to release. Secondary responsibilities include third-line customer support.

What you will do in the position:

Product Release Testing

Design and develop, maintain, execute, and report on test cases for the various product releases.
Aggressively performs black-box testing of released products or products under development to reveal defects and design problems.
Manage defects throughout the life cycle of iterative software and hardware releases.
Define and perform unit tests on components and objects of a given firmware/software project.
Maintain knowledge of current and future Clear-Com and Trilogy projects.
Develop and maintain the processes and initiatives within the department.
Support the development of the other team members in their system knowledge and test skills.

Sustaining Product Testing

Investigate customer problems with existing products containing software or firmware reported by end-user, Sales, Marketing, Service Division or Engineering.
Assist development engineers by reproducing defects reported by customers in a released product.
Maintain a high level of expertise in most released Clear-Com or Trilogy products.
Provide customer-facing acceptance and regression test reports and documentation as required by new opportunities or contracts.

What you will need to succeed in this position:

Proven experience as a Test Engineer/Software Engineer.
Experience with system testing, IP, networking, SIP.
The ability to create, organize, execute, and verify complex test cases based on specifications delivered by design engineers.
Thorough knowledge of testing methodologies and troubleshooting techniques for both software and hardware issues.
Thorough understanding of product life cycle including agile, Waterfall, and V models.
Understanding of automated testing using the latest tools available.
The ability to create test scripts and test harnesses.
Good understanding of standard programming languages (Python, C#.net).
Knowledge of Linux operating system internals an advantage.
Excellent communicator, both written and oral with co-workers and management staff.
Ability to interact with a wide variety of parties (engineering, management, customers, manufacturing, etc.).
Quality conscious, constantly looking for improvements.
Experience: 5+ years related field
BA or BAS (college graduated) - preferred related field
Travel: 5% to minimal
