Job Description

Brisbane City Council has partnered with design and construction consortium, Brisbane Move (made up of construction-lead ACCIONA and design-lead Arup) to deliver the major infrastructure for Brisbane Metro, which includes:

  • a new tunnel beneath Adelaide Street and revitalised streetscape from North Quay to Edward Street
  • an upgraded Cultural Centre station
  • an upgraded gateway to the Cultural Centre Forecourt with new landscaping and wider footpaths
  • significant public realm improvements at Melbourne Street and Grey Street
  • changes to Victoria Bridge to provide three lanes for Metro and bus services, and dedicated cycling and pedestrian pathways
  • upgrades to some suburban bus stations including end of route vehicle charging facilities.

ACCIONA is now looking for a Stakeholder Engagement Advisor to join our Brisbane Move team delivering Brisbane Metro.  You will have the opportunity to take on a varied and exciting role delivering a city-shaping project for Brisbane. You will be responsible for developing and implementing communication plans, facilitating high quality communication and stakeholder engagement activities, maintaining key stakeholder relationships and developing high quality communication materials.

Required Skills and Competencies

You will be tertiary qualified with experience working on major projects or with relevant industry experience. You will enjoy planning and delivering high quality best practice stakeholder engagement. You will work across multiple precincts and be part of a dynamic and supportive team.
