Infrastructure Cabling Superintendent
Amteck Technologies specializes in the design, installation, testing, certification and support of structured cabling systems. This also includes systems installation and certification of fire alarms, paging/sound, CCTV and CATV. We are currently hiring Infrastructure Cabling Superintendents who will be responsible for planning and leading projects consisting of the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of structured cabling systems.
Requirements include but are not limited to the below
- 5-6 years of verified experience minimum with low voltage systems and cabling
- Some proved experience supervising or training others on this type of work
- Has or can obtain an OSHA 30
- Knowledge of BICSI, ANSI, TIA standards and NEC codes for Low Voltage installations
- Demonstrated experience installing devices for one or more of the following systems: Infrastructure (ITS), Access Control/Security, Access Points (Wi-Fi), Cameras (CCTV), and Paging
- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and identifying faults for one or more of the following systems: Copper, Fiber, AV, Cameras, Access Control/Security Systems
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the below
- Leads teams up to 10 team members and works hands on to install, repair, terminate, certify and troubleshoot devices and cabling of low voltage systems
- Responsible for working with Project Managers to establish and follow a budget, manage labor hours, committed costs and material costs
- Prepare progress reports and work with Project Managers to prepare monthly projections that are critical in accurately reflecting cash flow and profits
- Install, repair, terminate, certify, and label cabling for one or more of the following systems:
- Infrastructure (ITS)
- Access Control/Security
- Cameras (CCTV)
- Paging systems
