Atlas Professionals is looking for a Maintenance Work Preparator Mechanical in the region of Amsterdam.
Maintenance Work Preparator Mechanical has the responsibility for the multidisciplinary planning / work preparation of maintenance (preventive / corrective) in the field of mechanical engineering (piping & mechanical), and on rotating equipment. In alignment with procedures and processes (Maintenance Execution). Also preparing and coordinating an integrated planning with all disciplines, operations and contractors are part of this responsibility. The planning of the work has to be done in such a way that the present or purchased capacity is used in the correct and most efficient way.
Responsible for timely and properly prepare all the appropriate preventive and corrective maintenance, so that the work can be performed safely and efficiently;
Set-up and monitor planned (preventive) and unplanned (corrective) activities;
Budgeting maintenance activities in order to have a cost estimate of the work to be performed at an early stage;
Specifies in cooperation with Mechanical Lead and engineers the required hand-over and completion documents;
Creating and optimizing task lists for corrective and proactive maintenance;
Specifying and ensuring the timely delivery of required materials / spare parts and tools;
Making Work Permits including any Task Risk Analyses (TRAs);
Updating EAM11 so that the relevant and correct information printed out and can be used;
Providing administrative tasks around the work preparation process;
Planning maintenance work properly;
As Work Preparator you not only ensure that the right materials are available at the right time.
You accurately provides the complete planning and acts as a source of information for customers, suppliers and colleagues;
Liaising with engineering and maintenance performance;
Since projects are often multidisciplinary in nature, you work closely with colleagues from other disciplines;
You ensure quality, deliver on agreements, take care and make sure there is clear communication targeting all relevant parties;
Monitor quality of services provided by third parties, to maintain a good price / quality ratio is in place;
Meet legal regulations in the field of maintenance;
Maintain and apply all HSSE&Q rules for both own and hired staff and third parties.
Work permits issuance, monitoring, collection and feedback.
Communication with internal customers (stakeholders).
A completed MBO degree (level 4) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with several years relevant mechanical (field) experience.
Minimum 3 years experience as a Work Preparator for maintenance projects with the focus on Piping & Mechanical and preferably on rotating equipment.
Knowledge of products, raw materials, equipment (certificates) and safety requirements.
Knowledge of work process, permitting process and risk assessment.
Knowledge of Maintenance Execution.
Fluent (both written and verbal) in Dutch and English.
Certificate safety: VCA.
The ability to apply modern planning and work preparation techniques (including budgeting, preparation of contracts (scope) and calculation.
Being able to assess the number and quality of required materials, equipment and personnel.
Commitment and responsibility, cooperation, quality-oriented and initiative, good communication skills.
Planning and organizing and setting the right priorities.
