Our client is an emerging player in the Global Food Ingredients space and as part of their rapid growth, we have newly created an exciting and pioneering Regulatory Affairs Manager role to be based in Singapore, taking care of the APAC region.


Reporting to the Asia Head of Food Safety & Quality with a dotted line reporting to the Innovation Centre Head of Asia, this position will be responsible for ensuring products meet all regulatory requirements for Asia markets. Working across various business units and categories, you will provide support when interacting with customers as required, providing timely information and resolution of customer complaints, ensuring specifications meet requirements. This role will support the Innovation Team as required in ensuring regulatory compliance for all new products. You will also have responsibility for ensuring the business is updated with all new and upcoming regulatory developments globally to enable the business units to proactively take steps to meet the requirements.


You should have a degree in Food Science, Chemistry or Microbiology, with 8-10 years of regulatory as well as quality assurance experience across Asia markets in the Food or Food Ingredients industry. The role will require proactive relationship building with regulatory bodies, as well as the ability to communicate broadly and work cross functionally. Self-awareness to enable and lead through influence suppliers and associates across geographies will be necessary. As this is a pioneering role in the function regionally, a self-starter with a clear drive for results, with the flexibility and adaptability to the fast evolving market needs will be necessary.
