Head of Value Chain Management – Temporary contract of 2 years (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

  • Manage customer relationship
  • Monitor value chain customer satisfaction and coordinate actions in case of deviations
  • Implement value chain relevant customer specific requirements and monitor adherence in all organizational units
  • Manage day-to-day customer service for selected customers (one face to the customer for pre-series, series and aftersales)
  • Initiate S&OP process by arbitrating customer demand to provide long term transparency
  • Monitor availability of required finished goods (FG) to fulfill customer demand
  • Analyze customer schedules against agreed contracts, incl. capacity and flexibility agreements
  • Negotiate potential solution for deviations between customer, sales and country
  • Manage and operate Advanced Delivery Centers (ADC) outside of country organization, incl. supervision of external logistic service provider
  • Conduct cycle counting and stock take to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Manage customer packaging
  • Manage customer communication in case of a delivery crisis
  • Issues and processes logistics alerts in case of an imminent customer stoppage
  • Define and implement customer service concept by project and customer location
  • Creates yearly planning of logistics costs budget in principle companies (delivery centers)
  • Monitors actual costs & implements actions to reach costs targets
  • Support sales for VCM related recharges to customers (obsolete material, freights, services)
  • Manages and develops customer service organization in area of responsibility
  • Coaches the organization regarding defined standards and best-practices
  • Ensure the availability and skill-level of LEONI customer service personnel in area of responsibility
  • Ensures in-time processing of customer logistics complaints, incl. application of the 8D methodology

Your skills:

  • University degree
  • Multiple years of experience in supply chain management in automotive, preferably at a tier 1 supplier
  • Multiple years of leadership experience
  • English language skills, fluently spoken and writing (must be able to negotiate with customers and other external parties)
  • MS-Office, ERP system knowledge;
  • Proven leadership skills
  • High endurance and high flexibility
  • Customer orientation and team-work oriented attitude
  • Communication and presentation skills
  • Determination and willingness to take decisions
  • Ability to think out-of-the-box
  • Willingness for international business trip
