Summary:
We are looking for a methodical Market Research Analyst to survey customer preferences and statistical data in order to support customers during their decision making process regarding product designs, prices and promotions. The successful market researcher will be able to analyze autonomously qualitative data, trends, strategies and completion aiming at increasing competitiveness.
Analyze past sales trends and customer intelligence to recommend future raw material purchases.
Collect market intelligence from the sales team for high level reporting, planning, and decision making.
Consolidate inputs from supply chain and commercial teams to manage price lists.
Integrate market data from regulatory filings in automated reports.
Develop back end links between CRM system and data visualization applications.
Collaborate with the engineering team to perform product performance analysis for both internal and external presentations.
Assist the conventional marketing team with customer events.
Perform ad hoc analysis as required.
Skills:
Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills.
Ability to interpret large amounts of data.
MS Office proficiency.
Proven data analysis experience, experience interpreting large amounts of data and developing actionable reports.
Strong communication and presentation skills. Willingness to collaborate across functional groups.
MS Office and computational programming proficiency.
Preferred: Oilfield Services Experience, specifically Coiled Tubing. PowerBI, Navision, Dynamics, Filemaker, Python or other programming experience
