Description
In this role you will be responsible for working with Autonomy system domain experts to implement designs in software. You will work with Perception, Planning, and Positioning teams to implement software solutions in C++. In addition, you will work on other areas of the system like middleware implementation.
Job Duties
Create C++ software within Autonomy and Connectivity software stacks
Document requirements
Implement unit test cases
Participate in feature design, development, and road mapping for software solutions
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics
2+ years of experience with C++ and Python
2+ years of experience working with robotic or wireless communication systems
Top Candidates will also have
Experience with V2X, Wifi, cellular, IoT, AWS, Azure platforms
Basic understanding of autonomous mobile robots, autonomous vehicles, sensors, and the core elements of autonomy
Experience with modern software design and development principles
Experience with unit testing frameworks such as boost and gtest
Excellent debugging skills
Excellent communication skills
Comfortable with Linux, particularly Ubuntu

The location for this position is Pittsburgh, PA, Mossville IL, or San Francisco CA
United States domestic relocation is available for this position.
15% travel is required for this role
