1. DESCRIPTION :

Basic Qualifications

  • BA, BSME or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing and materials environment.
  • Analytical approach to problem solving
  • Working knowledge of ERP-MRP functionality, JDE and J.I.T. APICS Certification preferred
  • Bilingual English-Spanish.
  • Strong Leadership and communication skills.

Job Responsibilities

  • Productive components planning, purchasing, follow up, to meet the production plan. Ensure the JIT components supply to avoid production interruptions while adhering to the objectives set for the purchases and inventory management.
  • Expedite raw material, components
  • Coordinate the implementation of New Products and Engineering Changes, related to the execution within the Materials Department Ensure all the tasks-activities before the product launch and the engineering changes are executed.
  • Provide updates/status and solutions to the team and management for NPI’s, NBO’s and ECN’s introductions.
  • Demand analysis for SKU’s involved on an EC and NPIs
  • Participate on the DMRS
  • To differ or cancel purchase orders if needed, when the demand is reduced,
  • Ensure the parameter - set ups of the materials (part numbers) to meet the DOH goal.
  • Report status about the target’s accomplishment, inventory projections
  • Support the Spec & Audit area with discrepancies analysis
  • Escalate on time the important issues-problems
  • BOM updates on MRP
