Mechanical Mining Engineer job in Tucson at TechniPower, Inc.

You will work as a Mechanical Project Engineer/Manager involved with all phases of design (concept, design, specifications, procurement, installation, etc.) for large mining/mill equipment. Design for operations - both equipment and operators is critical for increased efficiency, improved maintenance and higher production.

This is a direct hire position based near Tucson, AZ.

BSME/MSME or similar, 10 years experience in mining or large mill operations
Experience with large plant and facility/production equipment upgrades to improve production capabilities, operation and maintenance
Proficiency with AUTOCAD or similar
Must be able to come up with concepts, designs, specifications, and ultimately procurement and installation (conveyors, mechanical systems, infrastructure, etc.)
Project Engineering and Project Management skills critical
Occasional facility site visits 5-10%
Strong design for operations background
