The Quality Test Engineer is responsible for developing, applying and maintaining test procedures and other quality procedure to ensure testing and quality control (QC) of products, assets, and materials and supplies.
Involves applying quality concepts and manufacturing and product functionality knowledge to improve current practices and ensure product quality and customer satisfaction is maintained
Coordinate investigations to address deviations and non-conformances, working with relevant subject matter experts as needed.
Develop, implement and maintain relevant quality test and control procedures in compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) and client requirements as needed.
Ensure compliance to internal and external management systems.
Conduct audit and validation of test software, hardware and procedure, including maintenance, calibration, execution, reporting results, and others.
Develop, implement and maintain NDE method and procedure including customer- and project specific QCPs.
Contribute to Quality Improvement Plans.
Support daily production in term of test, quality control etc.
Provide training of new test, procedure, calibration, etc to technicians and peers.
Interpret Engineering drawings/requirements and develop recommendations for management and engineering staff to determine quality standards for testing
2 years working experience in a similar Quality Test Engineer role
NDE Level II is a must in Dye penetrant Test, Magnetic Particle Inspection, Level III is preferred.
Able troubleshoot programs and systems and determine root causes and implement fixes
Extensive experience with interpreting codes and specifications, writing/reviewing NDE procedures, techniques & NDE engineering process specifications
Experience working in automation or program work
Bachelors or higher Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering
