The EPC Development Team is part of the EPC Projects Department and represents ibv’s EPC Departments towards the different IBV market teams during the project development phase until transition to the EPC execution phase. During the early development of new projects, the team coordinates with the EPC departments and supports the market teams as internal EPC Sales branch.

The EPC Sales manager is responsible to prepare EPC cost estimations and budgets and continuously benchmark the commercial performance of ongoing and finalized projects. As sales representative of the EPC department the EPC Sales Manager oversees creating and marketing of EPC and O&M offers for submission to third parties or business partners.

Senior EPC Sales Manager (m/f/d) Vollzeit, Berlin As a EPC Sales Manager, your tasks will include:
  • Representing ib vogt’s EPC Sales Branch towards internal and external clients.
  • Prepare EPC cost estimations and budgets at all project stages in close collaboration with the Procurement and Construction Department.
  • Continuously advice on cost developments for PV power plant components and services and assessing related uncertainties.
    • Benchmarking and analysis of IBV projects during and after the execution phase as well as evaluation of external offers.
    • Maintenance of a cost database to continuously improve cost estimation quality by analysis of various sources of cost data.
    • Prepare and market EPC Offers towards 3rd-parties including pricing, timeline, contractual terms, quality, and technical solution.
  • Support the EPC Project Managers in the preparation of “Make or Buy” decisions.
    • Support digitalization of business processes connected to cost management, controlling and procurement processes or participation in EPC tenders.
  • Gain broad understanding of companies’ business as well as deep insight in whole value chain of PV power plant projects.
Your Profile:
  • Academic degree in engineering or business, with at least three years of relevant work experience.
  • Expertise on costs, planning, structure, and function of PV power plants
  • Experience in EPC Sales and preparation of EPC cost estimations, management of proposal and 3rd-party tenders
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills combined with ability to coordinate well with internal teams and external clients or partners
  • Systematic and proactive organizational approach with an ability to switch fluidly between details and big picture focus
  • Professional skill level in Data Analytics, MS Office 365 and related IT applications
  • Positive attitude and affinity to business topics and issues
  • Languages: English (native speaker or excellent command), other languages also welcome
