The Quality Assurance Manager has full authority to manage at his/her discretion materials, equipment and personnel assigned to his/her department as long as this event is focused on complying with the T-O-D Quality Policy and the responsibilities listed below. Some activities such as off-budget salary changes, personnel additions, purchase requisitions greater than the limit established by the corresponding procedure, replacement of resignations and any other limitation established by an existing procedure, will have to be consulted or submitted to the Operations Director for approval.
The Quality Assurance Manager is the person responsible and empowered to ensure that quality requirements are established, implemented and maintained in accordance with the ISO 9002 standard and the requirements of the Quality Manual, and to report to Management on the performance of the system for review and as a basis for system improvement.
Serves as the Customer representative at our plant.
Responsible for ensuring that customers receive responses on product quality issues in a timely manner and using defined communication channels.
Deploys and controls the plant quality system (ISO) ensuring its functionality.
Develops and implements processes for feedback and follow-up on supplier performance to ensure quality of inputs received, as well as immediate disposition of non-conforming slaughterhouse.
Develops and implements processes to ensure the quality of the product to be shipped by detecting out-of-specification products and processes, through:
Defines and monitors Critical Quality Aspects (CTQ) of Product and Critical Process Aspects (CTP) to ensure the manufacturing of quality products.
Conducts quality problem solving through the use of standardized information gathering processes, problem solving techniques and deployment of Poka Yoke solutions.
Deploys process capability identification analysis.
Strategically deploys the implementation of the RTY (Roll Throughput Yield) tool in the plant and analysis of information to trigger improvement actions.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Master's Degree desirable.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 5 years minimum experience in manufacturing or 3 years as a Supervisor or Manager of a department.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT: Spoken and written English.

SUPERVISION: Quality Assurance Engineer, Quality Assurance Supervisors.
CONTACT WITH OTHERS: Divisional Sales, Engineering and Quality Assurance, customers and Department Managers of the Cd. Juarez and Delicias plants.
