Description

The Configuration Analyst is responsible for implementing the rules that define configurable models in Oracle CPQ. In addition, this position is responsible for the integration of the master data that represents configured models into the Oracle eBusiness Suite ERP application.

Responsibilities
  • Implement rules in CPQ that define the allowed combinations of configurable options.
  • Ensure that configured models are accurately interfaced to Oracle EBS.
  • Establish strong relationships with internal customers, including Product Marketing, Engineering and Data Governance. Coordinate testing of new configurable product lines.
  • Develop and execute SQL scripts to resolve production issues.
  • Raise Service Requests (SR s) with Oracle Support to obtain solutions to application problems.
  • Participate in cross functional project implementation teams.
  • Provide technical support for the integration between CPQ and Oracle EBS. Follow change control governance policies.
  • Document business process solutions.


Requirements

B. S. in Information Systems Management, B. S. in Information Technology, B. S. in Computer Science or related field.

A minimum of 5 years of experience working with a product configurator such as: Oracle CPQ (formerly Big Machines), Oracle Configurator, Configure-One

Must be able to write basic ad hoc SQL queries against database tables

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
