With rapid expansion plans throughout Southeast Asia, Entoria is looking for an experienced and energetic Business Development Manager to join our growing Business Development Team. Based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, this high-profile role is an exciting opportunity for you to make high-impact contributions to the business of an established renewable energy company.


Reporting to the Headquarters in Singapore, you will be responsible for business development activities across Vietnam and from time to time, involved in supporting activities in other countries in the Southeast Asia region. This role is a full-time position.

Job description


Note: Only applicants who fulfil legal requirements to work in Vietnam will be considered.


  • Conduct studies on markets and client segments, contribute to market strategies, and identify new opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with local partners and stakeholders
  • Generate leads and build project pipelines through networking, prospecting and cultivating relationships with clients
  • Cooperate with Finance and Technical teams on project/opportunity due diligence and feasibility studies
  • Prepare and present project proposals to clients
  • Manage key steps of project development, including documentation, notarization, licensing, and permitting
  • Lead negotiations and contract signature with clients
  • Forecast pipeline conversion and report on project development activities on regular basis
  • Provide customer service to clients as required**

**Entoria aims to foster a lean and agile organization through collaborative practices. Team members may from time-to-time be involved in supporting workstreams outside of their usual scope of work.


  • University Graduate with degree in Engineering, Finance, Law, or Business
  • Analytical and organized with the high degree of commercial acumen
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the sale of technical solutions/financial products, B2B sales, or deal origination
  • In-depth knowledge of the business landscape and culture in Vietnam
  • Confident communicator in English and Vietnamese
  • Ability to deliver under pressure while supporting peers in a collaborative environment
  • Capability to flourish with minimal guidance and handle ambiguity
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the country and across Southeast Asia
  • Experience in Power, Infrastructure, or Renewables is a plus
  • Understanding of Power Purchase Agreements is an advantage
