Description
This is a growing renewable energy project developer which has developed, built and operated significant projects across the Asia Pacific region including Southeast Asia, and North Asia. With solid financial backing and credible track record in project delivery, the business is in high growth mode. As a result, there is now an exciting opportunity for a high calibre Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (“FP&A”) to support the Group’s growth ambitions in Asia. This is a managerial position overseeing a high performing team of financial analysts.
Responsibilities
Reporting to Chief Financial Officer, the FP&A Head will lead the Company’s budgeting/ and forecasting process for several key locations and projects within Asia Pacific. This will include project business case development, cost benefit analysis. The FP&A Head will also play the role of a finance business partner through providing insights into meaningful analytics for the region, including how the business is performing and highlighting issues that will help drive business decisions. In line with the growth agenda, the FP&A Head will also be the finance lead for new business set up, partner the financing team leads on effectively structuring the financing of the portfolios.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be a qualified Chartered Accountant with an excellent bachelor degree in Accountancy, with minimum 10-15 years’ of varied finance experience, ideally the earlier years in financial accounting and reporting. You will subsequently have extensive track record in financial analysis, budgeting and performance reporting work experience in a regional capacity, ideally within energy or heavy infrastructure sectors. Candidates with solid experience in regional capacities will have a distinct advantage. Described as a solutions-provider, you will constructively challenge status quo and offer actionable fixes to existing processes. As this is a team manager position, you will also have track record of managing and developing teams.
