If you are an Export Order Fullfillment professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Knoxville, TN location, you will be responsible for the execution of global export documentation for shipments originating in the United States to destinations globally.
AS AN EXPORT ORDER FULFILLMENT SPECIALIST, YOU WILL\:
Execute global export documentation and ensure it meets export and compliance regulations
Arrange details of shipments with forwarders, agents, carriers, etc. as necessary for export required pickup deadlines
Be responsible for filing Shipper's Export Declaration (SED) to the Automated Export System (AES) and Automated Commercial Environment (ACE)
Process shipments on parcel client's (UPS, FedEx, and DHL) shipping systems to include research and tracking shipments for customers as required
Transacting of daily shipments including producing labels and other documents for domestic and international shipments
Adhere to all ISO procedures, Work Instructions, and Process Packages including auditing line items on sales orders/invoices for accuracy
Generate Hazmat documentation, maintain export documentation and package shipments for all departments as required
Interact with International Sales Coordinator as required
Monitor service window for in-house customers
Keep packaging boxes and molds to acceptable levels
Attend export training as required to ensure compliance
Perform computer operations as required in the Corporate Resource Planning System (ERP), Oracle and Tradesphere
Be responsible for assisting other departmental areas when primary responsibilities are completed

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS\:
High school diploma or equivalent
Two (2) years or more experience in all modes of transportation with focus on international transportation and trade compliance
Knowledge of Hazardous Materials transportation guidelines
Experience with all aspects of global export documentation and knowledge of current global export regulations
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
ERP system experience
Must be able to safely use all packaging and freight handling equipment associated with a shipping dock area
Must be able to lift 50 llbs
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS\:
- Certifications - 49 CFR (DOT), International Air Traffic Association (IATA), and International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG)
