Job description

  • Plan for and coordinate efficient environmental and regulatory review and permitting of projects, including preparing applications to agencies and regulator entities, managing projects by preparing and managing schedules and budgets
  • Obtain necessary approvals for site investigation surveys and planning for surveys to comply with regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate development of permit drawings and environmental compliance plans with engineering, construction and execution teams internally
  •  Establish and maintain positive relationships with agency personnel and other key internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage or support management of external consultants undertaking surveys and studies to support the permitting processes


Job requirements

  • have, as a minimum, a bachelor’s degree within a relevant field, e.g. environmental policy, marine biology, marine affairs, law, or other related disciplines
  • have in-depth knowledge of US regulations and policies, as well as relationships with decision-makers, policy-makers, and state/federal authorities
  •  have excellent technical writing skills and stakeholder management abilities
  •  be a trustworthy and impactful communicator with the ability to maintain detailed dialogue, as well as the ability to address large groups and disseminate the bigger picture when required
  • have demonstrated project planning and implementation skills; and
  •  have more than three (3) years professional experience
