**System Operations Foreman**
Serves as field SME in organizing and instructing the activities of System Operations related work including the inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the Company’s district regulator stations as well as the inspection and maintenance program of the Company’s stand-alone emergency valves. Performs procedural observations and coaches field personnel to meet compliance requirements, ensure quality of work and adherence to standards and procedures. May also support regulator and relief valve equipment inspections including regulator lock off tests, relief valve set pressure tests and internal regulator inspections for large meter set inspections. Responds to gas related emergencies to oversee and ensure safety to the public, property, and employees in the service area.
•*Education and Experience:**
+ High school diploma or GED
+ Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in gas utility operations
+ Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in System Operations experience
+ Equivalent academic education and experience
+ Valid driver’s license
+ Read and interpret project design plans – proficiency
+ Size regulator and reliefs - proficiency
+ Emergency response knowledge and action planning
+ Written and verbal communication
+ Technical skill sets
+ Gas construction and operating principles
+ Critical thinking process and identifying effective solutions
+ Geographic Information System (GIS) or comparable system - intermediate proficiency
+ PeopleSoft Financials - intermediate proficiency

+ Asset Repository (AR) - proficiency
+ MS Excel, Word, and Access - intermediate proficiency
+ System modeling evaluation
+ Operator Qualified in accordance with Company Plan
+ PSC, OSHA, DOT, and Company Trained for System Operations Courses
•*Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:**
+ Working on various job sites and excessive driving up to four (4) hours at a time
+ Potential for occasional overnight travel

•*MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Performs procedural observations as instructed by System Operations Superintendent/Supervisor (field audits for compliance and quality of service).
+ Assesses field projects (new regulator station installations, existing regulator station renewals and protection of regulator station facilities with construction projects) for quality and completion of work and employee compliance.
+ Assesses field projects (regulator and relief valve equipment inspections for large meter set inspections) for quality and completion of work and employee compliance.
+ Implement Flow Interruption Plans and Routines for projects affecting System Operations facilities and equipment including regulator stations and emergency valves (includes pickling and cross compression projects)
+ Resolves escalated or complex issues
+ Low pressure issues
+ Over pressure incidents
+ Over and under odorization issues
+ Equipment trouble shooting - investigation and resolution
+ Assists performance management process by providing input to System Operations Superintendent/Supervisor regarding field observations of employee, limited to compliance, OQ and procedures.
+ Assists with compliance training of field employees as field observer and on-the-job trainer – OQ, OSHA, PSC, DOT and Company Policy. Performs crew safety audits.
+ Capable of performing complex or highly technical field work (inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the Company’s district regulator stations and emergency valves).
