Lead Cyber Engineer

Responsibilities:
The Lead Cyber Forenscis Engineer serves as the lead engineer for a team of cyber forensics testers, digital forensics analysts, and malware and anti-virus engineers. The lead engineer will oversee and lead the team conducting functional testing, cyber operations testing, digital forensics analysis, operational tradecraft evaluation and AV product analysis. The lead engineer will implement new testing and operation environments in coordination with SMEs on the hardware and software requirements. The lead engineer will identify capability gaps and then devise solutions and lead the implementation of those solutions.
Qualifications:
Required:
BS degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering or other relevant field of study with 16-18 years of experience, 14+ years with an MS, 10+ years with a Phd.
Demonstrated experience implementing new testing and operating environments
Demonstrated experience with functional testing, digital forensic analysis, operational tradecraft evaluation or AV products evaluation.
Demonstrated experience in capability gap analysis and technical solutioning.
Desired:
One of the following certifications: CEH, GCFA, or GREM
Demonstrated experience leading technical exchanges across multiple IC and or DOD agencies
Minimum 10 years of experience performing cyber operations, cyber operations testing, or relevant cyber testing
Demonstrated experience managing cyber operations, cyber operations testing, or relevant cyber testing

Salary Range: Salary Minimum: $97,500 Salary Mid: $195,000 Salary Maximum: $243,800 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees.
