Initially, this role will be part of Schneider Electric ADMS Sustainment team that is responsible to provide ADMS application, network model and SCADA support for Hydro One’s ADMS system. This team is located at Hydro One premises and it is a part of Hydro One Operation Technology team. At some point, it is expected from this role to become responsible for design, implementation and commissioning of ADMS systems for multiple projects in Canada and possibly US.  

The ADMS Network Model Coordinator will be responsible to:

  • Creating changeset Summary report – Creating a weekly list of pending ADMS change-sets for Power Support team.
  • Maintaining Changeset Summary – Checking and cleaning up change-set summary of old and not valid GIS/Manual/SCADA changesets. Pinging ADMS users in order to get feedbacks about certain changeset.
  • Fixing reported CRM tickets - Triaging and Resolving composite drawing issues i.e. white-spacing (WS) issues reported via defect tracking tool - CRM.
  • E-mail/Lync correspondence with Control Room ADMS controllers – Investigating and resolving WS issues required by controllers regarding Signal Control Panel and Visibility Profiles in DMD.
  • E-mail/Lync correspondence with Network Planers - Investigating and resolving Network Builder issues for Network Planning team members.
  • White-spacing for Analysis ready stations – Preparing Manual Changeset for Power Team in order to do a final review for Analyses Ready stations.
  • White-spacing for NOT Analysis ready stations - Aligning DMS Composite and Station Views with customer single line diagrams (2LT and NMS).
  • Tracking and validating White-spacing Changesets – Supervision of WS changesets created by members of NMC group.
  • Organizing manual Model Promotion – In cases when TS and feeders updated is required with minimum SCADA interruptions manual Model Promotion is must.
  • Writing User Manuals – User Guides, “tips & tricks” necessary for Control Room, Network Plantings and other teams.
  • Updating official ADMS documents – Updating documents for ADMS Symbology, Visibility Profiles and AMDS options.
  • Troubleshooting and triaging issues – Investigating potential issues regarding ADMS DMD/Builder application before reporting to HPQC and ‘Schneider Electric Exchange’ portal. In case if issue really exist coordination with ADMS teams from development ADMS team.
