The Payroll Administrator is accountable for ensuring the timely and accurate data entry in preparation of employment information and the processing of payroll and benefits. Management of employee data and accurately calculates, analyzes, and distributes pay and related benefits
AS A PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR, YOU WILL:
Create and maintain employee records in payroll and benefit systems
Verify employee time records
Prepare and processes payroll on a bi-weekly basis
Prepare a shadow payroll for deputed resources, and reports earnings as requested
Consistently review processes for efficiencies
Analyze payroll to ensure the accurate calculation of hours, benefits, uplifts, bonuses, vacations, and deductions
Create adhoc reporting necessary to conduct audits
Monitor and report overtime, sick time, bank time, uplift, and statutory holiday and vacation pay
Providing client service both internally and externally on all payroll and benefits
Assist with records of employment and processing payments for terminated employees
Reports distribution
Process benefit claims and assists with resolving discrepancies
Assist with year end processing, including T-4 slips for Canadian employees
Calculate and monitors corporate RRSP contributions
Maintain payroll procedures manual
Monitor payroll procedures to ensure compliance with corporate policies and government legislatio

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
CPA certification (PCP) is preferred
Experience processing payroll using ADP [email protected] & Oracle is preferred or an equivalent software
Excellent information technology skills including word, excel (i.e. VLOOKUP & Pivot Tables) and outlook
Excellent communication, organization, time management and customer service skills
Highly analytical and detail oriented
