An excellent and rewarding opportunity has become available for a full time fixed term Direct Payments Assistant to join our team within Adult Social Care Financial Services.
This role is based at St Mary's House, Eastbourne. The successful candidate may be home working where necessary/appropriate until such time as Covid-related restrictions are relaxed and staff can return to the office.
You’ll be a key part of the team and be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of direct payments to Adult Social Care clients.
You’ll also coordinate correspondence for the team by telephone, letter and email. Our customers require varying levels of support therefore excellent customer service skills will be required.
You’ll need knowledge of working with computers including Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office and have 5 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English at A-C grade or equivalent level experience. You’ll work on a number of bespoke database systems for which you will receive full training and ongoing support.
Due to the flexible nature of the role it’s important you are organised, self-motivated, collaborative and empathic and have an understanding of the needs of vulnerable people.
