Job Description:

  • Plans, schedules, conducts and coordinates for flow meters calibration, flow calibration laboratory audit and maintenance.
  • Provides flow calibration reports and recommendations.
  • Ensures effective coordination and communication within team i.e., customer, Sales, flow laboratory, logistics, other suppliers.
  • Leads and involves in ISO-17025 internal and external audits.
  • Monitors and achieves flow lab quality metrics for all calibration procedures.
  • Ensures all calibration activities are carried out safely complying with company Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) guidelines and procedures.   

Job Responsibilities:

  • To support flow meter calibrations in laboratory as per calibration procedure and best industry practices.
  • Able to troubleshoot and provide recommendations.
  • Able to support emergency calibration orders after office hours and weekends/Public holidays to meet customer expectations and lead time.
  • To communicate and explain effectively flow calibration related issues to customers and other related team on time.
  • Prepares calibration reports with accurate information for customer submission on time.
  • Supports and guides technicians to resolve issues and work as a team.
  • Schedules, performs, reviews and manages internal audits based on ISO-17025 requirements.
  • Sets and/or follows detailed guidelines on what needs to be checked and what the quality standards are.
  • Reviews and updates the Quality Management System (QMS) with incidents, fixes and improvements.
  • Scheduling of proficiency testing and internal audits.
  • Coordinates with internal & external quality assurance auditors and quality manager to ensure legal compliance and ISO-17025.
  • Able to work with internal teams to increase customer satisfaction by improving the quality of calibration services.
  • Able to take on additional responsibilities and assignments if there are requirements from management.
  • SMO – Service management office – updating man hours, updating job progress in service cloud application on time.
  • Strictly follows EHS safety guidelines.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma / Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics Engineering or Science.
  • Familiarity with a quality system such as ISO 17025 or ISO 9001.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in instrument calibration and maintenance.
  • Maintenance, calibration and trouble-shooting experience in flow instruments pressure, temperature in laboratory / process industries.
