Contracts Manager

Blueprint Recruitment Solutions currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join a UK manufacturer of bespoke interactive water-play infrastructure.
They are looking for someone to oversee the team's delivery of works to a high standard and in a safe and timely manner. Ideally with a background in Construction or Utilities, if you are an experienced Contracts Manager looking for a new opportunity than do send your CV to the below details.
Main Duties /Responsibilities:
*Review, during site set up day, all documentation and ensure working methods have been agreed, are appropriate
*Ensure the whole team has the correct personal protective equipment required for the project
*Report all defects in tools, plant, equipment, and materials before start of project where possible
*Identify all hazards to new site personal and site visitors
*Inform management of any change to state of health, either temporary or permanent, which might affect working
*Follow Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS) and Construction Phase Plans (CPP)
*Understand Project Manager reports and forecasts on a regular basis, to keep up to date with progress on projects
Essential:
*CSCS Blue card or willingness to obtain
*Certificate in Confined Spaces or willingness to obtain
*SSSTS or willingness to obtain
*Experience of working on-site
*Possess a conscientious and positive attitude to work
*Be self-motivated and complete daily tasks with minimum supervision
*Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces safely, following relevant training
*Ability to lift, carry and push equipment
*Ability to act on initiative, particularly in respect to Health & Safety and report relevant matters
*Demonstrate good driving skills. Driving will be monitored and tracked
*Willingness to attend training courses, as and when required
*Willingness to travel and work away from home, as and when required
