Morson have an exciting vacancy for a IMOS Technical Support Services Officer based in Yeovil for one of our Aerospace Clients.
As an IMOS (Integrated Merlin Operational Support) Technical Support Services Officer, you will be providing both Technical Support and discharging the IMOS contractual deliveries, based in Yeovil, to ensure that the appropriate support solution is provided. The role includes supporting Depth Maintenance output and providing continuous improvement to reducing the scheduled and un-scheduled maintenance footprint.
Key Job Accountabilities Include:
Be the interface to oversee longer term Repair Instructions, fault investigations, Technical Instructions closure action, Scheduled Maintenance Reviews and aircraft Product Improvement modifications.
Work within a team of Support Engineers and logisticians to ensure that a responsive, professional and cost effective technical support solution is provided, at all times, which maximises customer satisfaction.
Where required, liaise with Technical Support from LH Italy for associated Technical Queries, Repairs, Fault Investigations or other Out of Scope Tasks.
Utilisation and integration of Service Engineering capability as required to support service provision.
Interface with the clients departments (including indirect procurement), LMA and the IMOS Industry Partners to obtain required responses ensuring that suppliers understand the operational implication of technical decisions taken.
Attend customer and supplier meetings as required.
Prepare specific reports, briefs and presentations as required in support of IMOS activities.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all query responses.
Ensure that technical and commercial issues are brought promptly to the attention of the Technical Services manager, when necessary.
Applicants are required to have mechanical based experience with the Aerospace/Defence environment
