EVP NCE > SBU NCE Construction & Operations > Business Improvements & Processes
Business Improvements and Processes is a department within PMO, Portfolio Planning and Analytics under the Northern and Central Europe (NCE) business unit at Vestas. The goal of PMO, Portfolio Planning and Analytics is to support the region in effective execution of onshore and offshore Construction Projects. Business Improvements & Processes will ensure the regional construction business has the necessary framework, processes and systems to complete the projects in the best way possible. The area of Business Improvements & Processes will also support the business in running improvement initiatives and ensure alignment of these initiatives with Global Construction.
 
Responsibilities 

  • Develop and implement goals and strategies for Business Improvements and Processes which is aligned horizontally in NCE construction and deployed down in the department
  • Be an engaged member of the management team in PMO, Portfolio Planning & Analytics
  • Ensure the team directs improvement projects effectively
  • Ensure the team maintains a solid framework and governance for construction incl. standards for managing our projects and process updates for construction 
  • Align with Global Construction on processes and frameworks 
  • Guide, motivate, inspire and develop your team with focus on performance management, personal and professional development as well as setting a clear direction for the department 
  • Understand the business needs, prioritize initiatives and negotiate with stakeholders
  • Contribute to continuous development of skills, competencies and process improvements within Construction

 
Qualifications

  • Solid proven work experience from a similar position in supporting and bringing improvements to a business in an international company, ideally within the renewable energy industry but could come from a large-scale construction background
  • Solid proven experience as a leader/people manager and a set of leadership skills where targets and strategies are clearly defined for the team 
  • Solid knowledgebase about construction projects and processes including planning, preparation and execution 
  • Experience working within the industry on processes and governance 
  • Solid stakeholder management skills and ability to cooperate with stakeholders across various parts of the value chain as well as identify and involve the needed business stakeholders 
  • Proficient in verbal and written English
