Shall have the authority to make decisions on the acceptability of product, parts, raw material and manufacturing processes when it does not meet the necessary requirements according to policies, procedures and specifications. Shall make decisions when these are beyond the scope of the personnel in his/her charge.
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for contributing to the achievement of complete customer satisfaction by assisting the production department so that it can ship competitive products and services free of defects and on time.
He/she will be responsible for implementing processes that guarantee the quality of the products being manufactured, being directly responsible for the control of specifications, creating and updating roadmaps, quoting new products and services, performing engineering tests, product samples requested by customers or Sales Engineers, processes and devices that guarantee and/or improve product quality and do not put the health of workers at risk.
Will be responsible for the implementation and design of machinery for the purpose of improving the capacity of the production process, as long as employee safety and product quality are not compromised.
Will also be responsible for following the company's Quality Policy through the efficient and proper administration of human resources, materials and equipment, as well as reporting any deviation from the Quality Policy that is observed in any of the aforementioned resources.
Establish corrective actions for quality deviations found in order to prevent recurrence and ensure that the product is manufactured correctly on the first attempt.
Will generate requisitions for quotations to automated equipment, and coordinate the follow-up and implementation of such projects to their final stage.
Has the authority to stop operations or processes that jeopardize the safety of people and product or that deviate from T-O-D policies and procedures.
He/she will ensure that the personnel under his/her charge receive the appropriate training to perform the tasks of the position that will allow them to comply with the Company's Quality Policy.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering (Preferred)
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Scantling Design, Operating Methods, Line Balancing. Lean Manufacturing desirable.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT: Spoken and written English.
