Description



Guarantees and ensures that the components and products meet the established specifications. Establish processes and procedures that ensure the quality of the product. Monitor, evaluate and take corrective actions to increase the efficiency of each of the products. Assistant in the fulfillment of delivery dates. Maintains a continuous improvement culture for products and processes. Solves common problems with prior authorization, adhering to established standards and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Gives support to the Manufacturing areas on the operation, application, specifications and manufacturing procedures, assembly and testing of the product. 
  • Determines the origins of the problems, implementing corrective actions such as changes in specifications, procedures and / or engineering drawings, etc., when required. 
  • Provides technical advice to the areas that request it in the reading of plans, metrology, materials, product application, manufacturing processes and manufacturing. 
  • Elaborates procedures that guarantee the manufacture, assembly and testing of components and products. 
  • Analyzes problems, proposes solutions and provides written instructions when it is required to deviate or modify a process, material or specification. 
  • Analyzes modes of non-conformances of components to evaluate their condition and disposition and avoid repetitions. 
  • Makes disposal of material reported by the Quality department as non-conforming. 
  • Ensures compliance with procedures, standards and specifications established in the quality management system related to your position. 

    Complies with the applicable safety regulations in the company.

Availability to travel occasionally to the United States


Requirements
  • Bachelor degree on Mechanical or Industrial engineering.
  • 2-5 years of experience on metalworking industry.
  • Proficient on CAD software (Creo, Catia, AutoCAD) .
  • English communication 75%.
  • Knowledge on measuring equipment.
  • Drawing interpretation and GD&T.
  • Knowledge on material properties and Heat treatment process.
  • Experienced using 6 sigma, Lean Manufacturing and Continuous improvement.
  • Familiarized with CNC equipment operation.
  • Experience designing manufacturing processes.
  • Experience on equipment selection and acquisition.
  • Interpretation of graphs such as histograms, paretos, Gantt charts.
  • Knowledge of Lean tools.
