In This Context, She/He Is In Charge Of

Mission

- The BSW Design Leader is accountable for BSW deliverables to ensure project success.

- She/He is responsible for the detailed scheduling and budgeting of BSW activities, with BSW Metier Team Leader support.

- She/He will functionally manage a group of BSW engineers, especially leading the group by managing their activities.

Responsibilities

Complying with BSW Métiers processes and Design Rules\: 

  • Plan, monitor and control activities according to BSW Metier Process, following CPM (CLEAN Project Management).

  • In charge of the robust BSW design in line with the project budget & quality targets.

  • Review Internal Requirements, Customer Requirements, SW Requirement Specifications.

  • Lead and contribute in BSW detailed design, coding and unit testing covering ASPICE SWE.3 & SWE.4 activities.

  • Applies Standardization rules, exceptionally will request tailoring based on justifications.

  • Responsible for BSW design reviews preparation.

  • Interface with the customer for the BSW content.

  • Report and escalate to the Software Project Leader and BSW Metier Team Leader.

Scheduling and Budgeting

  • Contribute to the identification of the needs in terms of BSW resources, equipments, investments

  • Establish detailed breakdown of the BSW activities to meet the milestones

  • Follow BSW activities and spending of his scope to meet his allowed budget and timing

Contributors Mamagement

  • Daily management of his BSW group.

  • Assign the needed work packages and tasks to the team.

  • Regular review with his/her BSW Team Leader to check alignment between needs and availabilities.

Process, Methodology, Tools, Equipment

  • Apply processes, template, checklist, methods and the tools necessary to properly handle BSW activities (to cover ASPICE SWE.3 & SWE.4) and align it with the Métier Mngr.

  • Support BSW Engineering process methodology and tools deployment on the project.

  • Participate in continuous improvement of BSW standards, methods & tools.

People Management

Functional Management 3 to 5 people 

Education

Engineering Degree or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.

Language

Fluent in English, French or German is a plus.

Professional Experience

5 to 7 years of experience in basic software metier in automotive engineering or relevant industries.

Additional Technical Experience

Autonomous with software debugging, compiler.

Skilled in software debugging, compilers, Multicore development, AUTOSAR.

Familiar with Aurix Tricore microcontroller family, diagnostics protocols (UDS, OBD), bootloaders.

Knowledge of Inverters and On board chargers is a plus.
