Within MOL Group the Industrial Services business unit contains numerous service companies covering oil field services, asset operations and maintenance management services for internal customers across MOL Group in an integrated manner, while aiming to offer them to third-party companies as well.

Now at the Group Industrial Services & Ventures Finance we are looking for

Group Maintenance Services Finance Business Partner

who will contribute to the execution of Innovative Businesses and Services (IBS) strategy by managing and supervising relevant planning / reporting processes in the area of Group Maintenance Services and supporting strategic / operative decision making of Group Managers.

What would be the main focus?

You will be responsible for one of MOL Group's Hungarian subsidiary’s controlling tasks and supporting the Management with value-added ad-hoc analysis. Working closely with the CFO, the local controlling and Management of Petrolszolg Kft. (subsidiary of Mol Plc) and reporting to the Group Industrial Services & Ventures Finance Manager of Mol Group

This means:

  • Managing and supervising the development of planning and forecasting processes, controlling tools and methodologies for Group Maintenance Services. Regularly review and align the processes in place with management expectations and organizational changes

  • Preparation of monthly / quarterly / ad-hoc reports and forecasts of Petrolszolg Kft. for Group Maintenance Services in conformity with organizational performance management requirements. Actively participate in the preparation of top-down, bottom-up plans of the company

  • Support the decision making of the local Management of Petrolszolg Kft. and of the Group Maintenance Services Management by specific analyses, proposals, and comprehensive solution alternatives. Manage and supervise the preparation of benchmark analyses.

  • Initiate planning and reporting process developments on the basis of new ideas and experiences regarding Group Maintenance Services. Support the reporting system developments initiated by law or new requirements from businesses

  • Sharing knowledge and working together with finance colleagues in Slovakia and Croatia to unify processes and measurements in order to support the application and enhancement of Group level key performance indicators (KPIs)

  • Take part in the preparation and review of individual project proposals. Set up the cost-benefit evaluation methodology of projects, draw up economic calculations and post-implementation reviews of individual projects of Petrolszolg Kft.


  • University or College degree in finance/economics/business or equivalent

  • 3-5 years’ work experience within finance/controlling

  • Problem solving skills, proactive mindset, “can do” attitude

  • Structured thinking and attention to details and ability to meet priorities and deadlines

  • Ability to manage and resolve complex problems independently and cooperate with other departments and teams

  • Knowledge of general corporate processes, accounting, corporate finance, applicable accounting and tax regulations, management accounting are a plus

  • Confident use of MS Office tools especially Excel and PowerPoint

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and in Hungarian

  • Driving license category B, willingness to work on two locations


  • Audit experience

  • Advanced SAP knowledge (FI, MM, SD, etc)

  • Celonis, PowerBI knowledge
