GTC-Mechanics-THS-Engineer CAD
Mission
Responsible of 3D and 2D CAD data building, he will take part in P1 or P2 Project Design work.
Autonomous in CAD software.
Implement CAD Methodology and Standards as per TCC PG Methodology
Responsibilities
P1 projects CAD data definition respecting quality, efficiency and lead-time targets
Proficient in CAD software, define CAD models 3D or 2D, relating design specifications or CAD elements
given by PTM RD/Design Leaders/Design Engineers.
Define/build 3D models that will be consistent relative to mould/plastics constraints, clash/clearance
with other components or mechanical constraints.
Define 2D Drawings, consistent regarding drawing rules/layout/functional tolerances.
Follow and promote quality procedure.
Validate & follow-up of all CAD data concerning his (or her) project inside VLS Branch PDM/PLM
systems.
Responsible of lead-time/costs of his tasks (Efficiency and timing follow-up) by respecting projects
milestones/dead line.
Education/Training
BE/Btech in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institute or university
Post Graduation is an added advantage
Certification in Catia V5
Professional Experience
Experience (3 to 5 years) in modelling plastic parts majorly related to automotive HVAC in Catia V5.
Basic knowledge on GD&T and Stack-up calculations is an added advantage
Working in automotive tier1 Design Centre environment and working with European counterparts will
be preferred. Onsite experience will be added advantage
Strong interpersonal competence and acting as a good team player
Good in Basic knowledge of Engineering
Good in verbal, communication and presentation skills
Experience in Automobile Engine cooling/HVAC product knowledge is an added advantage
