•*Print and Project Operations Lead**

The Print and Project Operations Lead is responsible for the successful day-to-day operations of Georgia Power’s print services organization as well as the project management practices of the Brand Creative Team.

The Print and Project Operations Lead directs and coordinates the daily activities of the print services team to include:

+ Contractor, employee and vendor management

+ Project management to include workflow process development, implementation and operations from project intake, briefing, quality assurance, fulfilment, billing and project closeout.

+ Materials and supplies management

+ Financial operations including rates, billing and invoicing.

Additionally, working with the Brand Creative Manager and project managers, the Lead supports the consistent use, maintenance and improvement of the processes, procedures, financial and workflow tools used by the Brand Creative Team’s Photo/Video, Design, and Digital teams ensuring creative projects can flow smoothly through the team’s workflow; meeting deadlines and quality standards.


+ **Minimum 5 years of experience in print, project or business operations**

+ Experience handling multiple print projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards.

+ Knowledge of traditional and digital printing techniques and processes.

+ Demonstrated experience supervising contractors, employees and vendors preferred.

+ Experience in project or creative workflow tools strongly preferred.


+ Supervises and coordinates the activities of employees and contractors to deliver printed materials from the Georgia Power Print Shop.

+ Responsible for the maintenance and operation of owned and leased equipment within the Print Shop and for coordinating with vendors to deliver needed products.

+ Prepares operational schedules and coordinates all work activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications.

+ Responsible for the maintenance and operation of the print tracking, billing and workflow tool as well as the creative project management tools used by other Georgia Power Creative Teams.

+ Sets and monitors rates for print shop services and ensure monthly internal billing is completed accurately and all invoices and expenses are captured and recovered.

+ Consults with customers, employees, contractors and vendors to ensure all work is completed accurately, efficiently and in line with brand standards.

+ Manages the creative project technical operations for the Brand Creative Team

+ Monitors and maintains inventory of supplies and materials for all areas of responsibility

+ Works closely with the Brand Creative Manager and other corporate communication team leads on key projects and deliverables and ensures deadlines are met.
