NOV Rig Technologies is currently recruiting for a Service Mechanic to join our team in Bakersfield CA.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Check all structural and mechanical components for defects.
• Make any necessary repairs and replace broken parts.

FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Removing components, rebuilding and reassembly

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to frequently stand, walk, crouch, crawl or kneel required for extended periods of time required. 
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required.   
• Ability to work at heights from 20’ to 100’ required.
• Must have basic mechanic tools

BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES

• Willing to work with others, be on time and work overtime when needed.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

• 5 years of mechanical knowledge in basic mechanics required
