Electronics - F Safety - Product Safety Engineer job in Chennai at VALEO

The GEEDS Product Safety Engineer is a key player in ensuring new upcoming automotive products are safe for consumer usage in society. He/She has the following tasks\:
• Conduct functional safety analysis and verification.
• Ensure the relation with Valeo Product Group
• Adhereance to project milestones in respect with QCD rules
• Coordinates the activities of the Product Safety Engineers on the project
• Supports the Project Team Members for Safety Requirements implementation o Performs Product Safety activities on Projects in compliance with Valeo methodology\: Safety Planning, HW Safety analyses (FMEA, FTA, Reliability), Safety Concepts, Safety Case
o Interface with the Valeo Product Group, resolve safety related questions in the Product Group, and ensure capitalization for the Product Group projects in the frame of the GEEDS Safety Service Line
o Performs requested Valeo Safety Design Reviews on the safety related projects
o Supports the Valeo Standardization processes
o Supports the consolidation and improvement of the local Key Performance Indicators
o Deploys the GEEDS Safety Platform and Building Blocks strategy o Enforces the application of Safety Standards in Valeo
o Ensure the compliance of projects to ISO26262 and other applicable Standards
o Active participation to the Functional Safety team process continuous improvement
o Active role in Valeo Safety Culture development =4 years\\no Knowledge of ISO26262 is a plus\\no System mindset\\no Team Player"}">o Good level in documentation management
